Sessa Marine kicks off the New Year with a huge success. Their C38 wins the award for best sport cruiser, in the less than 45 foot category.
After the C68 victory at the Festival de la Plaisance di Cannes 2009, Sessa Marine reaffirms their position as one of the most active and award winning boat builders in the world. In the past few years, Sessa has created a number of unique and dynamic sport cruisers that combine style with quality to offer the best value for money in their price range.

Riccardo Radice, co-owner of Sessa Marine has the following to say regarding this latest accolade: "To win such an award in London, and to have three boats from the range all nominated, is both immensely satisfying and motivating for our shipyard, for our dealers and specially for our project team, led by Christian Grande and Massimo Radice. After the C68's success in Cannes, it's fantastic to see such a prestigious award go to the "younger sister", the C38. Two years ago Sessa also won this category in England with the C46. Our brand improvement program is on track without interruption even during these hard times. Next year we will be back to introduce other new models currently under development".

The C38 is a typically sized cruiser but with the comfort of a yacht. The winning features that can be attributed to this are the optimization of space, thanks to a unique layout including a master cabin with the one of the largest bathrooms in its category; the twin kitchens, an internal one designed in collaboration with Boffi who are one of the leading names in Italian design, and a second external kitchen. Other contributing factors are the wide deck with a sun bed and an innovative chaise lounge, both of which can be fully appreciated due to the practical and fully electrically operated sliding hard top that when open creates the perfect cockpit. The boat is available with D4 300 hp engines that allow a cruising speed of 28 knots.
