A FAMILY HISTORY

SESSA MARINE is a story of a family that, generation after generation, have pursued the dream of excellence for its brand. Established in 1958, SESSA MARINE started the moulding of plastics but very quickly progressed to the first applications of glass re-enforced polyester resins (VTR) and leveraging its technical know-how entered the nautical market as boat manufacturer. The desire to transfer the industrial management concepts to a craft sector, pushed the company to design boats which could guarantee the numbers of a mass production. Thanks to the very innovative idea to focus on automotive distribution systems based on exclusive dealers, SESSA MARINE entered the national and international market asserting itself with its boat characterized by an attractive design and bright colors. 

FIRST STEP OF A SURPRISING GROWTH 

In 1988, after having bought Fyberstamp, an industry located in Cividate al Piano (Bergamo) , SESSA MARINE starts the production previously located in Sessa Aurunca in this new Shipyard. In the next few years Sessa redoubles its production and expands, in a considerable way, its dealer network in Europe. The boats range constantly develops as well as the requests, so Sessa Marine is forced to increase its production capacity. The shipyard in Cividate al Piano is expanded and a new plant in Roccelletta di Borgia (South of Italy) is built with the JV, signed in 2008, with the company Seal Marine. 

RESEARCH & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT: KEY TO SUCCESS

In 2009 SESSA MARINE entered in the yacht World, launching the flagship C68, which was awarded in France in the category “Best design under 70 feet” and in 2010 in the Flying-bridge one, launching the SPORT FLY 54 first sporty Fly bridge which has changed the range concept, completed then with the FLY45 anf FLY40, both received with big enthusiasm from the international market.

SESSA MARINE represents today one of the main successful Italian nautical reality , constantly looking to the future with optimism and determination. Nr. 250 people employed in the company and about 500 boats produced in 2012. Fully owned by the Radice family, SESSA MARINE business philosophy embraces both the typical family company’s entrepreneurship and the large companies process management capability . The Family Company’s philosophy is reflected in SESSA MARINE’s ethics management, in its attention towards future investments and in its human resources professional growth. And even more you can see it in the energy and enthusiasm of the employees and partners developing, manufacturing and selling every day a unique product, that is appreciate for its quality and design. The company has currently 90 dealers around the world, mainly managed directly from the internal commercial dept. of the company and some through importers. The company ensures also a complete technical assistance to all boats owners thanks to the 52 service points located in Europe, 39 in Italy, France and Spain, core-business countries of the shipyard, Middle East and America.
